What is River Tech Days?

See what sets River Tech School of Performing Arts & Technology apart. Over six afternoons at The Heart, families with children in grades 1–12 can visit our temporary campus, meet our teachers, and sample a full slate of classes taught by our staff.

River Tech is a Christian school built for artistic, tech-savvy kids who love music and technology. Alongside core subjects, students learn performing arts and technology every day — and we're committed to raising the next generation of leaders. Come meet us, try our classes, and see if River Tech is the right fit for your child.

Though the March 15 fire took our building, it didn't take the school. We were back in class within two weeks, and we're now welcoming families to The Heart to see River Tech firsthand.

What Makes River Tech Different

River Tech is built for artistic and tech-savvy kids who love music and technology. Along with core subjects — math, language arts, social science, and science — students learn technology and performing arts every day. Class sizes are around 15 students, roughly half of most public schools. Our teachers spend real time with each child, and students move at their own pace through a competency-based model grounded in Christian values.

Questions Parents Ask

Do parents stay with their child, or drop off?

Either works. You're welcome to stay and watch — many parents want to see the classes firsthand — or drop your child off and pick up at 4 PM. If you stay, expect to meet other River Tech families and chat with our teachers.

What if my child can only come one or two days?

No problem. The $75 tier covers any three days of your choosing. If you can only come one or two, you're still welcome — email us at learn@rivertech.me and we'll work something out.

What grades is River Tech Days for?

Grades 1 through 12. Classes are taught at age-appropriate levels so your child lands in the right group.

Is this a commitment to enroll at River Tech?

No. River Tech Days is an open house with real classes — a chance to see if we're the right fit for your family. No pressure, no pitch. If you love it, we'll be glad to talk about fall enrollment.

What is the culture like at River Tech?

River Tech is a Christian school, and our classrooms run on a culture of grace, excellence, and gratitude. Families attending River Tech Days are stepping into that culture for the afternoon. Expect prayer before meals, kindness as the baseline, and teachers who treat every child as made in God's image.

Can River Tech accommodate children with special needs?

To be upfront: River Tech does not have special education staff or specialized programs. High-functioning students with mild learning differences are welcome and will be treated like any other child — same activities, same expectations. Children who need one-on-one aides, sensory supports, or a modified curriculum will likely find a better fit elsewhere. Not sure? Email learn@rivertech.me before registering and we'll talk it through.

What should my child bring?

Just themselves and a water bottle. We'll have everything else ready — instruments, laptops, robotics kits, art supplies.

How do I pay?

Use the registration form above. You can pay by card at checkout. If that's a hurdle, email us and we'll find a way.

Can I send more than one child?

Yes. Pricing is per child. Siblings are welcome and can attend together or pick different days.
