Scholarships
Exciting News!
River Tech is thrilled to participate in the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit program, signed into law on February 27, 2025. This initiative offers up to $5,000 per child (or $7,500 for special needs students) to help cover tuition starting July 1, 2025. Click here to learn more!
With this tax credit in place, our scholarships for 2025–26 have been adjusted (see below).

🎓 River Tech Scholarship · 2026–27
1. What’s new?
Idaho’s Parental Choice Tax Credit now covers up to $5,000 per child (or $7,500 for special-needs students). River Tech’s scholarships fill whatever gap remains. Because funds are limited, we give first consideration to families who volunteer on campus, but any family with demonstrated need may apply. Scholarships are partial, not full.

2. Who can apply?
- Current or newly enrolled River Tech students (grades 1–12)
- Families also applying for the state tax credit
- Households with financial hardship, large family tuition loads, or other special circumstances
- Application fee: A $20 processing fee helps cover administrative costs
3. How it works
- Complete the Scholarship Form (about five minutes).
- Pay the $20 fee via secure checkout.
- We aim to review all requests within two weeks.
- You’ll receive an email decision (award or decline) with next steps.
- Additional documents (e.g., proof of hardship) may be requested if your application advances.
4. Volunteer bonus
Active parent volunteers receive priority consideration. If you’re open to volunteering, explore our roles first. Your service strengthens both your child’s education and your scholarship request.

5. Ready to begin?
Updated for school year 2026–27. Form is still under development.
