The policies that govern River Tech School, published in full and in plain sight. Pick a policy on the left to read it exactly as it is written.

This page grows — each policy is added here as it is finished.

One page, every policy, nothing buried in an inbox.

River Tech School is a ministry of Faithful Five Inc., an Idaho nonprofit corporation. The policies that shape how the school admits, teaches, and cares for students belong to families as much as to staff, so we publish them here rather than keeping them in a filing cabinet.

Each policy appears in full, in the wording that governs. Where a policy carries a public notice, that notice is reproduced word for word and is never edited or summarised.

How policies are made

Written once, approved openly, reviewed on a clock.

Policy at River Tech is not improvised. Each policy is drafted, reviewed, and approved by the authority named in the policy itself, and each one carries a responsible officer who has to make it true in practice rather than merely on paper.

Why we publish them

A policy that a family cannot read is not a policy, it is a private preference. Publishing the full text means a parent can hold the school to its own words, and it means the school has to mean them. That is the point of this page.

Raising a concern

Concerns about a policy, or about how a policy has been applied, go to the Head of School. Where a concern involves the Head of School, it goes to the Board Chair of Faithful Five Inc. Nobody is retaliated against for raising one.

Write to learn@rivertech.me and it will be routed to the right person.

1.1  Nondiscrimination Policy

Published verbatim, continuously, on every domain the school operates.

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy as to Students

River Tech School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

River Tech School is a ministry of Faithful Five Inc., an Idaho nonprofit corporation.

Scope

This policy covers every grade and program operated under the River Tech School name, full-time and part-time. It governs every decision about admission, tuition and financial assistance, placement, discipline, and access to activities.

Religious mission and admissions

River Tech School is a ministry of Faithful Five Inc., a Christian church. Instruction, conduct standards, and community life at the school are shaped by the Statement of Faith of Faithful Five Inc., and families are asked to understand and support that commitment as a condition of enrollment.

The school applies its religious standards to every applicant alike, and applies them without regard to race, color, or national and ethnic origin. Those standards are published before they are applied, and membership in the church is open to all on the same basis.

Financial assistance

Financial assistance is awarded under published criteria on a racially nondiscriminatory basis. The school does not accept or administer any gift, scholarship, or fund restricted by race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Where this notice appears

  • The footer of every page on each of the school's websites.
  • The family handbook.
  • Both enrollment agreements and all admissions materials.
  • All solicitations for students or for funds.
  • Posted in the school office.

The notice above is reproduced word for word wherever it appears. It is never edited, shortened, or merged into anything else.

Concerns

Concerns go to the Head of School at learn@rivertech.me, or to the Board Chair of Faithful Five Inc. where they involve the Head of School. There is no retaliation, and there are no exceptions to this policy, by anyone.
