Enrollment
How Enrollment Works Now
We no longer hold an open enrollment season. A seat opens when a student graduates or a family moves on — we expect room for a small number of students in January, and more seats each fall. Every seat is filled from our wait pool.
The Wait Pool
It’s not a numbered line. When a seat opens, we look for the child who fits that class — River Tech is built around performing arts and technology, and it serves children who want to sing, act, build, and code. Joining is free and commits you to nothing.
While you wait, you’re invited to River Tech Days, our concerts, and our productions. If your plans change, just tell us — we’d rather know than guess.
Joining takes about five minutes and commits you to nothing. Questions? learn@rivertech.me.
Our Two Programs
River Tech School (Full-Time)

River Tech À La Carte (Home School)

Great for Planners
Payment Plans
Tuition can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Quarterly is our standard plan and offers the best rate.
Monthly distributes tuition over twelve months (July–June).
Annual allows families to pay once at the start of the school year.
Scholarships & Tax Credit Programs
Financial assistance is available through the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit. Families using the tax credit may apply it toward upcoming quarters.
What Tuition Covers
Tuition includes all textbooks, classroom materials, and access to technology and performing arts equipment. Students bring their own laptop or tablet for schoolwork. (See Technology Requirements.)

When a Seat Is Offered
An offer from the wait pool is a real seat, with a few days to decide. The one-time household enrollment fee is due only when you accept — never for joining or waiting. Accepted families receive everything they need for a smooth start.
Our Culture
River Tech is a Christian school built on biblical principles, with prayer, worship, and gratitude woven into daily life. We affirm God, family, community, personal responsibility, patriotism, merit, grit, and entrepreneurship. We do not adopt the ideological frameworks of contemporary progressive culture, such as gender ideology, critical race theory, victim mentality, or cancel culture.
