Lunch Rotations
2026–27 · Quarter 1 · 11:45–1:00 daily, three twenty-five-minute slots
Each group moves through lunch, the indoor hangout and active play while one group spends the whole window at the park. Every space holds up to thirty. The park is limited by seating, not by room.

Park seating is the one hard limit. The van holds fifteen including the driver and front passenger, and a teacher car holds five including the driver. With two teachers driving, the park takes eighteen students.
Thursday sends High School with exactly eighteen, so that run has no spare seat. A third adult riding drops it to seventeen; a third adult driving a second car raises it to twenty-two.
How this works
- Spaces
- Lunch hall, the indoor hangout in the middle school area, and outside or the dance hall. Each holds up to thirty.
- The park
- One group each day, full-time students only. Homeschoolers stay on campus.
- Homeschool groups
- The upper half and the lower half each stay together and join a full-time group. They are never split into smaller pieces.
- Monday
- Every homeschooler is in performing arts, and performers eat separately, so only about ten non-performers are in the rotation.
- Teacher availability
- Dan is out Tuesdays and Mary is out Wednesdays. Evelyn and Charlotte each cover two days. Emily arrives at 1:00, after the rotation ends.
- Patrol
- One teacher a day walks between the spaces rather than holding a group, covering gaps and transitions.
Group sizes are current as of August 26, 2026 and will shift as the remaining performing-arts forms come back.
