The Lion King Musical

River Tech Presents: The Lion King Musical 2023.
Do your kids love to sing, dance, and act? Join River Tech's Musical Production: The Lion King. It's FREE.

Main roles have already been cast, but you can still join in the choir, and in minor roles like wildebeest, hyenas, lions, and other animals. Rehearsals are Mondays, 11.15-12 pm. (Starting March 13th, rehearsals will begin at 11.05).

Regarding songs — The versions of the songs we will be singing are the ones in the VIDEOS below, not the ones in the Spotify-playlist (if that makes sense). So, the Spotify-playlist is just for general familiarity with the songs, but for the actual versions refer to the videos below.

Young Simba: Judah
Old Simba: Landon
Young Nala: Finley
Old Nala: Evelyn
Timon: Daeny
Pumbaa: Jacob
Rafiki: Spencer
Zazu: Abby
Nala's mom: Kendra
Scar: Talon
Sarabi: Lenya
Mufasa: Dylan
Four Hyenas: Selah (Shenzi), Aelyn (Banzai), Declan (Ed), Victoria (Val)
Mouse: Ciana
Wildebeest: Remaining actors
Other Animals: Remaining actors
Lions: Remaining actors who are 8 or older
Hyenas: Remaining actors who are 7 or younger
This means that an actor who wasn't cast as a main role, could be a wildebeest, a lion or hyena, and other animals, plus dance and/or sing.

Main Dancers (only these have to be there at 10.30; everyone else are to come at 11.15 am. Starting March 13th, rehearsals will begin at 11.05).
